About Me
Hello and welcome! My name is Melissa Barth, although everyone I know calls me Missy. I have been blessed with an amazing husband and 6 beautiful children (5 boys and 1 girl). We are active with our church’s children’s ministry, homeschool year-round, and spend lots of weekends on the soccer field or baseball field.
When I get a free moment, I enjoy reading and spending time with my husband. We are blessed to have a very supportive family that allow us to go on vacations just the 2 of us and occasional date nights.
Our Journey
We started out trying to do things our own way without consulting God. We quickly realized that was a big mistake. Just because we were ready to have children, didn’t mean that it was God’s timing. Though it looked like we might never have children, we learned through a lot of prayer what it means to trust Him and wait on His timing. My desire for this blog is to pass on to you the hope I found and encourage you wherever you are in your journey.
